2000 – September 25 – Volume 28, No. 3
872. That’s the total number of entries in the various classes at the 2000 Haydays! This is when grass drag racing was at its peak, and Snow Week captured all of the action. Seven different racers claimed Stock classes, there were five different winners in Improved Stock, three different champs in Pro Stock – that’s competitive racing at its finest. The Mod classes were a bit more one-sided in favor of Dean Schroeder, but the competition was still fierce. Wait: there’s more! The issue also has complete coverage of the World Cup in Fenwick, Ontario, that also had nearly 900 entries, plus an interview with Mark Thompson and Justin Moeller and top-end power tuning tips from Eric Gorr.
