1999 – December 20 – Volume 27, No. 8
The 1999-2000 snocross season got started with a bang, and Snow Week was there to cover the action. Re-live thrilling victories by Chris Vincent and Blair Morgan at Duluth, Minnesota. Also at that event, some 15-year-old semi-pro kid named Tucker Hibbert finished fourth in the X Games qualifier to earn the next-to-last spot in the upcoming X Games Snocross event in Vermont. Two months later, he’d make history and earn a gold medal! Also in the issue: Coverage of the CSRA opener at Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, a tech feature on the sled build of future Super Sled guru Chris Riley, an interview with Chris Hugo Vangen and more.
