1997 – September 22 – Volume 25, No. 3

In 1997, Haydays was in its prime in terms of being the biggest, baddest grass drag ever, and Snow Week was there to capture all of the action. There were about 800 driver entries, 50,000 fans, an $82,000 race purse split between 38 classes, and a festive atmosphere. There was even a race sled brought in mid-event via helicopter! This issue has more than “just” Haydays coverage, though. There’s also complete stories on the big race events in Fenwick, Ontario, and Virginia, Minnesota, from that last summer/early fall, holeshots, race wire, a Haydays flashback article and much more. Just 4 copies are available as this is being posted.
