A new season of Snow Week got kicked off in the summer of 1997 with this special issue, which features complete coverage of Mark Maki latest world championship at the Grantsburg Watercross. Beyond that, this issue also kicked off Snow Week’s 25th Anniverary with a flashback to its founding. Also in the issue are profiles of the “Rode Reports Racers” from the previous spring: Guy Parquette, Dennis Burks, Aaron Scheele and Rick Haeg, plus details on the racers who qualified to race on the asphalt at Brainerd. Holeshots, meanwhile, was packed with off-season racing news.
