1993 – December 13 – Volume 21, No. 7
Modern, big-bumps snocross exploded in popularity in North America starting with the Duluth Snocross National, Thanksgiving weekend of 1993. Driver entries totalled 508 — more than twice the previous year’s total — and qualifying races continued until 1:15 a.m. Just making it to a semi final in any class was an incredible accomplishment. The four Pro finals were won by Brian Sturgeon, Kirk Hibbert, Steve Hansen and Toby Ashley, but that was just a small cross-section of the star-power at this amazing event. The issue also includes a Todd Wolff profile, a report on the future of Formula I racing, Jack Struthers terrain setup secrets and more!
